Hi everyone, I’m Shubham Anand, currently pursuing Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. I secured an All India Rank of 1008 in JEE Advanced—but if you looked at my preparation graph a few months before the exam, it was anything but a smooth upward line. Like many of you, my journey was full of roadblocks. The biggest challenge wasn't just the complexity of the JEE syllabus; it was managing the intense pressure of Class 12 Boards right alongside it without burning out. There were phases where backlogs piled up, mock scores plateaued, and trying to balance subjective board preparation with objective problem-solving felt overwhelming. I didn't crack AIR 1008 by studying 18 hours a day with zero hiccups. I cracked it by treating my preparation like a strategy problem—cutting out low-yield effort, aligning my Board and JEE overlap smartly, and building a system that worked even on my worst days. As your mentor, I’m not here to hand you an unrealistic timetable. I’m here to help you navigate the messy middle, manage both fronts efficiently, and turn a chaotic prep into a top rank.
